Manual ILDA Operation

1. Raw ILDA control

To operate the laser system with an external ILDA interface (DAC), e.g. a USB interface like an FB3, the settings that are needed depend on the type of mainboard that is inside the laser system.
Select the appropriate mainboard type that matches the laser to get further instructions:

Valid for laser systems with DIP-switch board or display
  1. Connect the external ILDA interface (DAC) to the laser system using an ILDA cable. Plug the cable into the "ILDA IN" port at the back side of the laser system:

  2. The laser automatically recognizes that there is an ILDA device attached and prioritizes its signal over the internal control modes.
Remember: As long as an external ILDA interface is connected to the laser, the internal operation modes of the ShowNET are disabled.

  1. Connect the external ILDA interface (DAC) to the laser system using an ILDA cable:
    ILDA-in plug
  2. Configure the ILDA operation mode:
    Turn the selection rotary dial until the cursor points to the menu item "Operation mode".

  3. Press the rotary dial to expand the menu item:

  4. Turn the rotary dialuntil the cursor points to the desired operating mode (ILDA Input):

  5. Press the rotary dialonce. The selected operation mode (ILDA input) is now active:
