Laserist

What is a Laserist?

A laserist designs, creates and controls a laser show. A laserist needs at least a show laser projector. For programming own laser shows, he uses special laser show software. When doing live laser shows, the laserist needs a laser show control console, like a computer or a light desk to select different patterns, graphics, animations and beam variations. But the laserist not only sets up and operates the whole laser show, he is also in charge of observing local safety regulations.

How can I become a Laserist?

There is no special education for laserists at the moment. Most laserists start as hobby laser users and become laserists over the years. Buying the first budget show laser system leads to another laser projector together with a show programming software and so on. Practice, practice, practice.
