ShowNET
The multi-feature laser control mainboard
Control hardware
The powerful laser control mainboard: it works with a standard network control signal, DMX, Art-Net or runs in stand-alone operation mode. It is available as external interface (DAC) with ILDA out, or comes built-into the laser as intelligent laser mainboard.
ShowNET is a powerful and very versatile intelligent laser control mainboard. It can convert a digital network signal into the analogue ILDA control signal to control a laser system, but also comes with a great set of more features built-in: DMX, Art-Net, stand-alone operation and ILDA streaming are just some of the features it covers. So the ShowNET mainboard provides a great set of control options to fit the changing requirements on a show production site.
It is available in two forms: as an external interface, so it can be used with any laser system that has an ILDA input, and as an integrated mainboard built directly into a laser system - which is how it ships inside many of the Laserworld Group's own products.
ShowNET was deliberately designed around standard network infrastructure. The signal uses standard protocols, so it travels through normal switches, can be amplified, and can be carried over long distances via fibre without any costly special-purpose components in between.
