Laserworld PL-5

The Laserworld PL-5 laser system is equipped with RSL2 module technology, originally developed by LaserAnimation Sollinger. This technology enables an extremely small and lightweight housing while simultaneously improving beam quality. With 5'000 mW of power, an IP65 rating, and 45 kpps @ 8° scanners, the Laserworld PL-5 is a dependable choice for large-scale club installations, touring, production, and smaller outdoor shows, as well as professional graphics projections. This RSL2-based full color diode laser system provides analog modulation for linear color fading combined with great visibility.

Laserworld PL-5 lasers feature the ShowNET intelligent mainboard. This includes an integrated digital-to-analog converter (DAC), allowing the units to be controlled directly via software such as Showcontroller, Showeditor, TouchDesigner, MadLaser, ILD-Render, or any ILDA laser control software when using an external ILDA interface like the LaserGraph DSP. Additionally, the units come standard with built-in memory containing preset patterns that are easily accessible via DMX or ArtNet. Custom content can also be created in the ILDA file format and uploaded to the mainboard. The free Showeditor software license, included in the delivery, can be used for this purpose. Besides that, the Laserworld PL-5 can also operate in automatic mode, which is helpful for advertising, corporate productions, or simply for automated laser shows.

The Laserworld PL-5 features a beam diameter and divergence of ca. 5.5 mm / 0.9 mrad. The guaranteed output power is 5'000 mW, with individual RGB values of 1000 mW / 638 nm, 2'000 mW / 520 nm, and 3'000 mW / 450 nm. It offers a scan speed of 45 kpps @ 8° and a maximum scan angle of 50°. Thanks to its IP65 rating, the laser is perfectly suited for outdoor use and reduces maintenance requirements to an absolute minimum.
