the brand

Tarm® has been founded in the end of the 1970s. Soon after the foundation, the focus shifted more and more towards laser technology. tarm® did a lot of pioneering work to the still young show laser light industry in the following years.
The biggest nightclubs world wide were equipped with tarm® laser systems. Multiplex cinemas, theme parcs, musicals, luxury yachts and every type of venue with show lasers used tarm® laser systems.

Beginning of 2016, tarm® laser technologies joined the Laserworld Group for being able to expand further and target more international markets. New product lines have been established since, and the huge distribution network of the Laserworld Group helps in spreading the tarm® brand to an even broader market.

tarm Series

The tarm Series show laser projectors are full color whitelight RGB laser systems with full analog color modulation and diode-only equipment. The guaranteed output power is specified at 2'500 mW up to 6'700 mW after optics depending on model.

The tarm two can be controlled via ILDA. It has a switchable scan safety and switches for x-axis and y-axis flip. Color intensity can be adjusted with trim pots per color channel.

The tarm four and tarm seven can be controlled via ILDA and come with an advanced main board control via browser interface. It is possible to access the configuration settings for color, scanning and other parameters directly through a browser application by connecting to the laser via LAN (W-LAN with suitable access point). With this browser interface it is no longer necessary to physically access the laser projector (that is probably mounted in several meter height). All configurations can be set remotely from any computer (PC, MAC, Linux), tablet or even mobile phone.

All show laser projectors have great beam specifications with a diameter of ca. 3.0 mm and a beam divergence of approx. 0.8 mrad (full angle). Together with the fast scanning systems with 45 kpps@8°ILDA and a maximum scan angle of 60° (@30 kpps) these show laser lights are well graphics capable and suitable for professional laser applications.

tarm G OPSL Series

The tarm G OPSL Series show laser projectors are green Coherent Taipan OPSL solutions with analog color modulation.
These show laser lights can be controlled via ILDA and come with an advanced main board control via browser interface.
The tarm G OPSL devices have very fast scanners, running at 45kpp@8° ILDA and scanning a maximum scan angle of 60°, upgrades to CT-scanners with 60kpps@8° ILDA and a deflection angle of up to 80° are available on request. These specifications definitely make the units perfectly suitable for professional applications and ideal for graphics projections.

tarm HD Series

The tarm HD Series comprises high performance laser projectors, equipped with Coherent Taipan OPSL and HD OPSL laser modules with TEM00 beam profile.
The tarm HD show laser lights fulfill highest requirements in terms of brightness, beam divergence and accuracy.
These tarm show laser systems are equipped with Coherent Taipan OPSL and with the newly developed Coherent HD OPSL laser modules with TEM00 beam profile (TEM = Transverse electromagnetic mode) . At TEM00 the brightness of the beam spot is homogenously distributed in a Gaussian curve, so the spot is perfectly round and has no deviances due to wave interferences. Besides that, the tarm HD Series has an extremely low beam divergence: with CT-6210H scanners and standard optics: ca. 0.5 mrad or optionally with CT-6215HP scanners and low divergence optics: ca. 0.3 mrad (TEM00).
This results in an extremely increase of brightness in comparison to 'conventional' OPSL laser modules and especially in comparison to diode laser sources. The excellent beam specifications make these laser systems ideal for graphics and long distance projections, but also for beam effects, which shall be visible from far away.
