In Action: Lasers at Festivals
Lasers are an important part of the utmost light shows at festivals. Lighting designers use them as emotionalizing, emphasizing effect to catch the crowd and add a visual level to the perception of the music. As festivals use larger numbers of lasers, they usually go for DMX control of the laser systems, which is a perfect match for the ShowNET mainboards in all relevant laser systems that allow for professional yet easy control of laser systems via lighting console.
HB-Laser supported the yearly "Tag und Nacht an der Hochschule" event of the Polytechnical University in Aalen, Germany, last on 24.04.2015 for the fourth time. Six HB-Laser LightCube 863 RGB 13 were used together with two stacked video projectors with 12.000 ANSI lumen to create a spectacular multi media display with video and laser mapping as well as graphics and beam show....HTW Aalen - Tag und Nacht an der Hochschule 2015 The Hard Dance electronic music event “Masters of Hardcore” celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2015 – titled “20 Years of Rebellion”. 25’000 people attended the event on 28th March 2015 in the Brabanthallen in S’Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. The challenge at this event is the large stage and the huge crowd. To cover...Europapark Rust Halloween Laser Show, Germany Andy Lau,a very famous artist in Asia, chose to go for HB-Laser systems for his China tour 2011 - after having used them for his whole Asia Concert Tour before! The Asia Concert tour was extremely successful, so Andy Lau relied again on HB-Laser systems. For his China Tour he chose 11 LightCube 871 RGB 15W systems with Pangolin laser show control software.

The systems were used as center effects on the main festival outdoor stage. Both systems were stacked to create a double-layer center effect.
