In Action: Laser Art and Illumination
Laser shows are often used for art and illumination projects if the accuracy of the laser beam is essential, or, if there is the need for good visible light rays. There are many lighting artists that use laser light systems as central effects for their artistic displays or installations. Laserworld worked with several lighting artists in the past to help them in realizing their laser art projects. For some laser art projects it is necessary to develop individual laser show solutions, but for most laser art projects standard laser projectors from the huge portfolio of Laserworld are sufficient. For the event "night of open churches" HB-Laser was asked to provide a laser show inside the Schwäbisch Gmünd Münster - a large church in Germany. The show was pre-synchronized to live organ music. The music and the show perfectly matched. Due to the great conditions for a laser show inside the church, not even much laser power was needed. The show was performed with a Coherent...Laser Show in a German Church 2004 This project was a laser and video mapping towards the face of the building of the "Hochschule für Gestaltung" (Polytechnic University for Design) in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany.

The art project is a laser projection of mice to wall and ceiling, where the projected mice have a direct relation to real, living mice: Those were video-traced and transformed to the projection in the art laser installation.
