Sealed Housing Technology
used to build a part or the complete laser projector with no active cooling to reduce maintenance efforts dramatically
grating
A grating effect is an optical deflection grid, that multiplies the input rays. E.g. if you shoot a single laser beam to the grating, you get kind of a star effect (burst grating) or a "dotted line" (line grating) on the other side. See

DPSS
short for: Diode Pumped Solid State Laser - laser light is generated by amplification of photons emitted from a solid state active mateial (crystalline structure). See FAQ for details.
ILDA
Common transmission "protocol" for laser control over computer. It's a low-level, parallel transmission with DB25 connectors. See FAQ for details. ILDA is short for: International Laser Display Association.
OPSL
short for: Optically Pumped Semiconductor Laser - a technology patented to Coherent Inc. / USA. These modules have excellent beam profiles and specifications and are used for the very professional applications.
DMX
short for: Digital Multiplex - the common control signal in lighting industry. It is a serial bus system, that supports 512 channels with each having values between 0 and 255. Lighting fictures can be addressed and functions can be assigned to DMX channels.
W-DMX:
Wireless DMX - is a technology for wireless transmission of the DMX512 control signal (see FAQ for details). Original supplied by Wireless Solutions Sweden.
